Cable car and Mount Faber...

We decided to take the cable car back to the mainland. Who am I kidding; Ben and Piotr talked me into taking the cable car. Hanging off a wire in a glass bottomed gondola two hundred feet above open water is not my idea of fun. But, I knew the pictures would be amazing and they were.
The other tourists in our car had a good laugh at my expense as I was trying to take photos while hanging onto the boys for dear life. We went right over top of the Singapore Cruise Centre, the official cruise ship terminal. We even spotted a Royal Caribbean ship docked!
One of the women with us said the cable cars had been running since 1974 and were the first in all of South East Asia to take passengers overtop of the sea. Thankfully, she suggested we get out at Mount Faber to take in the scenery.
Mount Faber has stunning views of Sentosa Island, the Central Business District and the main harbour area. More great pictures!
Since we splurged on accommodation during our stay on Sentosa....the next few nights will be spent back in the tents! We have a camping space reserved at West Coast Park. There's a reflexology path, free Tai Chi lessons and free Yoga lessons! Namaste.
