Beachboys... and Girl

day at the beach and Songs of the Sea

semi-overcast 30 °C

WOW! What a great day! Beach, beach and more beach! Sentosa Island has three beaches, Siloso Beach, Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach. We picked Palawa Beach because it’s low key and close to the show we wanted to see at night.

The water was awesome! I went out a few times but mostly laid on my towel reading. Ben and Piotr barely came out of the water. Every time I looked up from my book they were inventing a new game to play. At one point they had like ten kids surrounding them.

I went exploring with my camera and came across a neat suspension bridge that leads to another island. Well, not really an island, more of an inlet with two lookout towers and some cool palm trees. The tiny inlet’s claim to fame…. it’s the southernmost point of continental Asia.

We caught the 7:40 showing of Songs of the Sea. I don’t really remember what the storey was about; I think the characters used their beautiful voices to control water, fire and light? Sorry. I was so taken with what the lasers and water and fireworks and projectile flames! The pictures don’t really do it justice.
